Interaction design - how users interact with the site and how the site responds.Ĭontent architecture - defines the arrangement of the content. Structure - The structure addresses how the site is organized and prioritized and how users interact with it. Scope - Scope covers what is included and, more importantly, what is not included in a website build-out.įunctional requirements - address what the site needs to achieve and how the elements interact.Ĭontent requirements - include any elements such as video, audio, articles, photos, and so forth that need to be included. Strategy - This involves developing the purpose of the site, and should include user research. ![]() For a very complex website, like Facebook, UX design and much of UI design comes before code is written and provides the framework with which developers build the code. UX Designers, who frequently overlap with UI designers, work to first understand the user, and from that build the framework and structure of the site.
